The music of Ebony notes massages the mind and warms the heart. A passionate, versatile pianist and rhythmic keyboardist, Yvonne Payne's many styles include classical music to soothing, soulful jazz sounds.

Yvonne Payne, professional pianist and passionate piano teacher started her professional career at age 15. Today she has over 30 years experience and entertained at more than 500 events ranging from private weddings to major corporate events including a 1966 concert with Doc Sevrensen and Portland's Johnny Martin Band in 2003.

She received her formal training in Music Performance and Education from the Lower Columbia College as well as from University of Washington where she received numerous awards for her outstanding performances.

Yvonne Payne has been mentioned in publications such as the Longview Daily News, Vancouver Business Journal, and Lacamas Life Magazine. She maintains professional affiliations with the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, the Clark County Chapter of the National Music Teacher Association, POVA and is a board member of EOCF. She has a home studio located in Vancouver, Washington and currently has 23 piano students from ages 4 to 65.

Mrs. Payne has three grown daughters, four grand children, and her dog Ceci a Bichon Frise. Her wide array of interests also includes gardening, reading, travel and garage sales.
